Productive Day

Today I:

1. De-Geined my house so it doesn't look like the Firefly house from House of 1000 Corpses anymore...except for the corpses and the furniture made from human skin and bones. I kept those.

2. Started reworking my classes. Man, the third edition of my standard textbook fucking SUCKS compared to the second...but it does contain a new chapter of essays concerning cyborgs, futurism, and ubiquitous technology. Guess what chapter every one of my students will HAVE to read now?

3. Watered and tended to every damned plant in my friggin' yard.

4. Walked close to a mile.

5. Stocked up on so much Gatorade I'll be able to hydrate myself for the next thirty years.

6. Worked out plans for a new grape arbor for my back yard.

7. Finished TWO more Malpractice songs, and wrote lyrics for one of them.

8. Scratched my butt.

9. Fixed stupid nagging laptop .dll problem. (It only took 20 seconds, but I'd been putting it off for no good reason.)

Tomorrow, I plan on doing absolutely nothing.

You have to come get this gurney! It does make an interesting highlight for my kitchen, but it's taking up too much room. One more day here and James is going to claim it for his own...and wants to sleep on it every night.
