No blood today.

I was supposed to get my blood drawn today for a number of tests, so i had to fast--which, as you know, isn't the easiest thing for me, since i get hungry all the time--and went in today after class to get it done. When I got there, however, the lab tech told me i'd need to come back next Thursday because if I got the test done too early, by the time I see my doctor in two weeks the results may have changed. Or something. Bit of a nuisance, because i'd like to get the ball rolling here.

at least the vicodin is kind of helping the pain today. It wasn't too bad when I woke up, but it's building the more i move around and do stuff. So, for the rest of the day, I'm not doing shit.

Oh, don't forget: I'm djing at electro-retro tomorrow. I'm gonna play a lot of depressing shit. so come on out.

And that's about it, folks....I've been putting together a setlist for tomorrow (finally) and there isn't a single track on it greater than, maybe, 120bpm--TOPS. Most of the tracks are around 100bpm. Why? Because I just ain't feeling very energetic. Sorry. Besides, folks don't come to Electro-Retro to get down, folks come there to drink and sit around and bullshit. So I'm putting together some nice, relaxing, oftimes depressing but more often than not fun or sarcastic, laaaaaaaaaaidback jams for y'all. Expect lots of oldskool New Wave analog funk, too: Numan, Thomas Dolby, Nena, the Motors, Comateens, Industry...stuff like that.

I've got tha Snoop Dogg, too, though...so if anyone requests some of that ol' gangsta shit, I can supply!
