oneirophrenia: (New Year's Eve)

Thursday, I went to the Fayette County Fair with [livejournal.com profile] deviant_1. It was most awesome in a very neckreddening sort of way--so much so I found myself wearing a cowboy hat for the rest of the weekend. Frightening, yes, but at the same time...what do you expect from me? Heh. There will be a substantial Pegritz.com essay about that adventure coming up soon. I'll let you know once it's up so you can go and dig it tha most.

Friday...hell, what did I do Friday? I think I watched Helter Skelter again in order to work on my Charlie Manson impersonation for Halloween. In order to pull this off properly, I suspect major amounts of hard drugs will be necessary--I'm pretty damned nuts, but I am not that insane.

Saturday was just awesome. aRvin and I went to [livejournal.com profile] beeporama's and [livejournal.com profile] dorothymonkey's housewarming. Had a bit of a difficult time getting there because MapQuest directions are, lately, becoming next to useless--but it doesn't help that their street doesn't officially have a name or a roadsign anywhere. Very bizarre. Regardless, those two have a beautiful house--quite impressive, especially the Hello Kitty and the Pirate bathrooms, which Jen did a masterful job of decorating. Also, my dear, you are to be much congratulated on the mighty slushy concoction: I never quite achieved a state of drunkenness, but a pleasant buzz certainly resulted from said preparation. It was most awesome. After that, it was off to Ceremony as usual, where I found myself spending most of the night talking to [livejournal.com profile] kaspellsgoddess's completely awesome sister, Andrea. She's a great girl. I feel bad that Tara kept her chained up in that filthy little basement room for so long, but luckily she finally managed to chew through the chains and escape....Heeeeeeee. I also got to meet a future art student named Olga (I've always loved that name) who knows [livejournal.com profile] doktorvox and loves g33ktech and laptops--always a good source of conversation when I'm around. Small friggin' universe, I tell you.

Of note: my boy Matthew Heilman, aka DJ Imperium, is DJing again and man, as usual, he just rocked my ass so right. I'm very glad to see him back on the Night Shift. But I fear--FEAR, I tell you!--a night where he and aRvin are DJing together. I'll end up in the hospital.

And today, I've just worked on blog stuff and listened to Royskopp and Ludacris all day. Strange combo, no? Not when I mix the two together it ain't. Or, well, maybe it's just even weirder.
