Romeo Void and Berlin

I've been watching VH-1's Reunited show today, and so far they've brought back together Romeo Void (one of my favorite bands of all time) and right now they're attempting to get Berlin back together, too. Romeo Void was excellent. Debora looks exactly like she did in 1983, and sounds the same, as well--she's still as impressive as always, and I've always admired her, too, because she is the absolute antithesis of the standard "rock chick", at least physically, yet she still rocks the world to hell and back.

Man, Terri Nunn is still hot as hell, too. She may be old enough to be my mom, but I would still make the fockey with her without a second thought.

Berlin are a favorite guilty secret of mine. No More Words and The Metro still rank in my mind as two of the best new wave songs to come out of the States in the 80s.

And of course who could ever forget Sex, I'm a... Truly a landmark.

I've loved Berlin since I first heard "The Metro" in...I think it was 1983. On MTV. I never *owned* anything by them until the early 1990s, though, which is when I went on a huge oldskool buying spree and picked up everything I could find by them. _Pleasure Victim_ is still my favorite Berlin album of all time, though. "Sex (I'm A....)" is THE JAM(tm).

i sat on the couch and watched reunited: berlin on monday. you're totally right about terri - she's gorgeous. and they sound the same as they ever did, too.

Terri Nunn is so fucking hot, she could depleted uranium just by walking past it and smiling. And, man, I am soooooooooo hoping that VH-1 will be releasing a best-of comp of these performances--or, even better, complete live CDs of each one! I would've given my left teste (the malfunctioning one) to have been at that show, but at least hearing it on CD will be good enough and will let me keep my entire package intact.
