Explosion of the Art-Rock Fetish

Lately, I've been listening to a lot of old artsy classic rock. Naturally, 80% of this is Pink Floyd, because I never really stop listening to Pink Floyd--they practically live in my CD player--but I've also been listening to a l;ot of Blue Oyster Cult, Alan Parsons Project, Strawberry Alarm Clock, Styx, Emerson Lake & Palmer, Yes, and stuff like that...and I've come to the conclusion: the best rock of all time was recorded between the years 1968 and 1983.

Yeah. Arena Rock RULEZ, man.

Blue Oyster Cult's "Godzilla" has lately been stuck in my head and I might try to do a cover of it....

Fuck YEAH to the ELO! I've been in a big Jeff Lynn mood lately, in general, and dug out his one solo album a few days ago....Forgot I even had it. Now I just need to find my tapes of ELO's last two albums and their greatest hits!
