My cellphone number is easy to remember. It is not like anyone else's, that I know of--in other words, you won't get, say, Saddam Hussein if you dial 1456 instead of 1455....and yet,

why the fuck does everyone at Penn State find it impossible to just CALL ME?

Everyone in admin there has my cellphone number as my primary contact number...yet, do they use it? No. They call my mother's number, which is only a backup in case, say, my cellphone has been swallowed by a bear or something. All of my students have my number, as well, and a standing invitation to contact me any time they need to. So, do they use it to call me and reschedule their finals when they miss them? No. They call Academic Affairs, who then call my mother's number.

I am getting seriously annoyed here. At least three people need to take finals tomorrow--for which I am making a special trip to Penn State, just so I can administer them properly. One of them has actually called me...finally. The others have been leaving messages for me at the Academic Affairs office, even when I've left my cellphone number on their answering machines and whatnot.

GAH!

My goddamned heads is spinning right now. I literally want to kick something.
