A Solution for the Middle East

Fuck this "withdrawl from Gaza" shite--I've got a better idea: we get rid of Israel entirely. Evacuate everyone, give the land back to the people who rightfully owned it for the past thousand years, and damn well be done with the whole fucking mess. But Pegritz, you ask, where are we going to put all those Israelis?

Simple. Montana, North Dakota, and South Dakota. Apparently, long ago, there was some talk of repatriating exiled Jews from the European continent into the American Midwest...which obviously never went through--but why not now? We kiss the goddamned Israelis' asses enough as it is...why not just move them all over here so we can hang with them whenever we want? There's plenty of land in the Midwest to offer them. Yes, it's all desert...but so was the land Israel currently occupies--and look how well they've done greening that! Sure, American rednecks will be pissed at this major influx of "those gawdamn Heeebrews," but I don't seriously see them strapping bombs to their beerguts and sneaking into "the Jewish Badlands" to blow themselves and Israeli children up.

So whats the amount of time someone has to occupy a land before its theirs? I'm just curious because if we move all the jews to the midwest what do we tell the indians?

And on that matter, shouldn't we kick the descendents of the normans out of england and give the land back to the danes and saxons?

And the japanese... we'll have to get rid of them (at least out of hokkaido) so we can give the land back to the ainu.

I really don't think we need more Democrat voters until the Democratic party starts acting like an actual liberal party. Until that happens, I'll be voting Green.

And as long as you do that, you can expect the overall politik of the United States to become progressively more and more NeoCon in attitude. Every Green vote that is caste only allows for a Republican, ergo "conservative," victory in any given situation.

Giving elections to the conservatives by voting Green does nothing to dismantle the "two party system," and voting your conscience is only a viable option when the two or more evils are, for all intents and purposes, virtually indistinguishible from one another where the whole of their platforms are concerned.

Valid points. While I don't see the party as anti-gay rights, pro-war or pro-corporate, and while I respectfully disagree with you on those points in regard to the "party as a whole," they're definitely pro-capitalist, which is unfortunately the bottom-line platform on which politics in this country will probably always stand. Capitalism is as fundamentally flawed in practice as communism and, at a glance, not a whole lot better for the overall population being governed.

I can understand where you're coming from, but at least in voting democrat I'm not voting for people who, given the opportunity, would just as soon burn me at the stake for what I believe, read, say and think about on a daily basis.

That's where I am, I guess.

You know were going to be called "anti semetic" for this, right?

I kind of agree. I mean, there's a ton of real estate in the midwest that boasts a vastly more amicable climate than the Middle East. The potential for the Nation of Israel to make more of the land than they would ever be able to do in modern Israel isn't a small one. Settlements could thrive and grow exponentially with no real issue. The Middle East as a whole might not become more secure, but a whole hell of a lot of the tension that's existed there would suddenly just CEASE.

A lot of the Dakotas and Montana would suddenly boast a working population that could create wealth in the area as well as development of the prairie into something more than just wide open space.

It's not a BAD idea, it'll just never happen.

It makes too much damned sense, and the hardline Zionists will NEVER leave Israel.
