OK, I just discovered that with this new phone of mine I can actually download and install custom ringtons, so I went searching for a bit and, of course, went directly to the "80's" category--and, lo and behold, what did I find?

NOT Gary Numan's "Cars," which would've been perfect...but I did find a super-cheesy blippitybleepity MIDI version of Europe's "Final Countdown"--which, as we all know, is the national anthem of Pegritzian Totalitarianism.

I ran across some Cure songs ("Boys Don't Cry" and "Close to Me") and OMD's "Enola Gay" as well, so I might have to go back and snake those, too, but I think "Final Countdown" just says it all: I, Pegritz, am a completely dork.

Ohyeah...they also have a movies section, too. _Halloween_ or _The Thing_, anyone?

....Back to grading now.

Whadda YOU think? :) Dude, I'm so into Laibach, I might as well be a member--I got the album with "The FInal Countdown" on it the day it came out back in '92, I believe it was. I actually drove down to Pittsburgh to get it!

"Enola Gay" was one of my favourite party ringtones before I got "Rock Lobster" :D

I know you're on a different service, but if you're interested, you might be able to find some video game stuff. Spring has or at least used to have the theme from Super Mario Bros.

I'm really going to go on the search for some Kraftwerk for my phone over the next few days. Oh yes I will. I *will* have "Die Roboten" as my ringtone.

what kind of phone did you get? i get a free upgrade, and i want that "boys don't cry" ringtone. did you get a nokia (the one with the light-up sides), or one of those fancy-schmancy picture phones?

Yeah, I got the cheap-shit Nokia that lights up and flashes and stuff. No point in paying extra for something that I'll only ever use to talk to people. I have no use for a picture phone since all I would do with it would be take pictures of me flipping the bird....
