I calculated the impact parameters for a carbonaceous-chondrite asteroid of app. 4 miles in diameter striking Los Angeles. Basically, it would obliterate a good portion of that shitpit of a city, but nothing about the impact would, fortunately, have any...uhhh, impact on the East Coast here at all. So now I just need to find a decent near-earth chondrite body and IT. IS. ON.

Only if it were a plague of zombification transmitted via bites--otherwise, you'd just have a city full of whiny sick people. Rabid, brain-starved zombies, on the other hand, would create TOTAL CHAOS.
