I haven't heard back from the Worst Performer Twins, and I don't have to even think about teaching until after the New Year. Once I sober up, though, I'm going to completely redo my syllabi and assignment requirements to 1) let my students know EXACTLY, in the dumbest possible terms, what each assignment requires; and 2) make sure they know how fucked they will be if they don't follow those requirements. I'm going to up my asshole quotient for next semester just to see if it makes any measureable difference. If not, then...I'll still be an asshole, I guess, 'cause I do like assholery. Especially my own.

g0dstar called me tonight! Haven't heard from her in I don't even know how long...but it was nice to hear from an old friend. That really brightened up my 35 cockslappin' minutes of being stuck in traffic today because some dumbshites were running a woodchipper by the side of the road. Vanessa brightened up the remainder of the day when I got to her place by, well, just being herself...and making me a delicious slab of filet mignon. Mmmm. Meat!
