Man, I feel worse today than ever. Fortunately, the coughing has slacked off...but the sneezing, the headaches, and and the skullcrushing congestion are just tearing me up.
I went out last night to see Paycheck with my old boy Mike, which was cool: John Woo can do no wrong, I swear. Not a perfect movie, but certainly very enjoyable and well-done. Hell, I even liked Ben Affleck in it, which says a lot, since normally I don't think all that much of him. Anyway, it was good to get out of the house, but I'm paying for it spades today.

Date: 2003-12-29 05:54 am (UTC)You know, I would have to agree with you about Paycheck. I went in with very low expectations, and came out rather pleased and satisfied. 'Course given the source material and John Woo directing I should have been more optimistic...
I would also like to comment on the fact that going in I turned to my friend and said "I GUARANTEE that there will be a door opened and a dove will fly out..." and when it did we laughed with much gusto for a good five minutes despite the seriousness of the scene in question.
