Gods, I wish someone would just beat Dani Filth senseless in a fucking alleyway already. Even Satan Himself is praying to Satan that someday Cradle of Filth's tour plane will go down in the Venezuelan mountains and the band will have to eat Dani Filth in order to stay alive.

Black metal just makes me laugh, though. It's so goofy! Everyone looks like pissed off mimes crossed with W.A.S.P. circa the "I fuck like a Beast!" video!

The sad thing is...Opeth is regarded as black metal, just 'cause their lead singer has a growly, sludgy voice, it seems. Opeth is not black metal! Opeth is prog rock crossed with Edgar Allan Poe! It's, like, Emerson Lake & Palmer turned Goth.

Cradle of Filth started out okay, but they've really devolved into a pop-black metal appeal to the lowest common denominator.

I love Mayhem, but Maniac looks like a black metal version of either Paul Bettany or Mr. Humphries from "Are You Being Served?"
