Guy in Dress Not Welcome at Prom.

What a fucking stupid situation. What VALID reason could anyone offer for not letting someone wear whatever he damnwell wants to his highschool prom?

Well, most schools do limit what proper attire is for proms, unless you go to an artsy fartsy school like CAPA or Perpich. Girls have to have dresses or outfits which are of a reasonable modesty, etc.

Now, I'm not saying that it's wrong to wear a dress to prom if you're a guy, but you did ask what valid reason could anyone offer for not letting someone wear what they want to prom- and the answer is the same valid reason as schools have a dress code whilst in classes.
