Mission

Sometime this weekend, I need to see about getting myself:

1) An old Super Nintendo or, better yet, an actual Atari--just amuse myself in those five-minute gaps when I actually have nothing to do better than play old video games.

2) A SoundBlaster Audigy USB soundcard for my laptop so that I may effectively record on it, as well as use it to play shows ("playing" in essence meaning walking out on stage with laptop, hitting play on randomly-generated WinAmp playlist of assorted Pegritzian tracks), and then going back to the bar).

And the sun is shining! This is good. When it's all sunny out and stuff, I find myself inspired to, like, actually emerge from the dark hole that is my house.

That flea-market that's in Perryopolis on Sundays? The one on 51? That's where we got our Atari, Nintendo, and SuperNintendo. All for super cheap and with a bunch of games.

I totally have to hit that up someday. I've been wanting to go there for ages, but have just never quite gotten around to it yet....They have lots of old vinyl records and stuff there, too!
