Oh, one more thing: on Tuesday, I will become the owner of an Apple computer.
No, not one of those useless Macs. A real Apple computer. An Apple IIc. From 1989. :)
My co-worker Joyce called me today to tell me that her neighbor gave her this old Apple IIc that she used to use to make banners and stuff for her classes (she was an elementary school teacher in the 1980s). The computer works just fine, and comes with all manner of software and peripherals--including an ancient 10 megabyte hard-drive and a dot-matrix printer!
Old. Skool. Yo.
I sooooooooooo have to find my old Track & Field floppies from back when I was in highschool, because I'll load that shit up and play Track & Field all goddamned day long, exploiting a bug in the pole-vault competition programme that eventually allows me to be vaulting over bars upwards of thirteen-kilometers in height. Yes, I am easily amused.
