Childrens lullabye versions of alt-rock songs!

We got lullabye renditions of...

Coldplay!

Metallica!

PINK FLOYD!

THE CURE!

TOOL!

And, bnest of all...RADIOHEAD!

Yes, the lullabye rendition of "No Surprises" is completely awesome. Remember, folks, Radiohead didn't startto suck until Kid A!

Every mommy and ddaddy should have these for their littl ones. Nothing can soothe a youngsters to sleep like the gentle sounds of "Sober" or "Enter Sandman."

see, the beauty of it is, both she *and* I would enjoy the heck out of these records. They're actually very well-recorded, and feature some of my favorite oldskool analog synths, so it's kind of like 1978-era Gary numan covering Radiohead by way of _Switched On Bach_. In other words, totally Sweet! Plus, it'd give the Squish a start on good music. :)

Oh, no--not at all. THis stuff would just make a great SUPPLEMENT to what you're already feeding her, musically. :)

Not sure if you've seen this, but it seemed up your alley.

Even if the effect on the ghost voice is faked, it's a pretty badass processing they're using to make it.

I think going deaf is one of his more minor ailments at the moment...HA!

I will have to agree with you in the sense that this would be cool for kids if it was just muscial sound aspect of it and left out the actual lyrics.

But then again my crazy sister use to play hard core metal to get my niece to sleep and the kid turned out alright, so I guess you can say that if you were to play this for very young children (babies that are far from talking) it would not matter what the lyrics were.

But playing this for my 15 month old that has turned into a total sponge and is now *repeating* everything she hears, I could only see her waking up and saying Hey mommy, Trust in me and fall as well....
