oneirophreniaI left town a little early today thinking, hmmm, the sooner I get home to the Lab, the sooner I can: 1) get these damned revisions of "A Place to Sleep," "The Bad Jennifer" (featuring a complete overhaul of the ending), and "Hands like snakes sow the seeds" done; 2) clean up the Cabinet of Curiosities that is my house; 3) finish a couple of Retar-D2 and Nyarlathotep tracks; and grade another 22 papers.
I somehow forgot that today being Easter meant that my mother was going to invite a number of her whiny, miserable old-hag friends over for dinner. And if I don't show up as well, I'll have an extra helping of bitching and moaning to deal with.
So let's see how fast I can choke down some ham and pickled eggs and then run back to my place before someone starts crying about how awful her grandkids are or how much that new Medicare plan sucks.
