mellawyrden, and all my other Lovecraftian homies take note! This is entire special, and the disembodied brain of HPL has been going nuts over this site for the past few hours. "Gee willikers!" he keeps saying...which sounds kind of weird through the vocoder I have hooked up to his brainbox.

Also...you know you've finally lost it and become one of those crusty old English teachers when you get a free book in the mail from some textbook publisher and you get all excited to see what they've sent to you. It's even worse when you get a stiff melissa for the book they've sent (in this case, The Norton Field Guide for Writers because it contains the best examples of MLA documentation you've ever seen in your life, and everything is COLOR-CODED and massively cross-referenced. It's like a Wikipedia for writers only...only printed on trees instead of pixels. SO FRESH.

Now: Monday Night Football! Goddamnit, Ben, you'd better make up for Maddox last weekend....
