Just a brief personal observation

Even as early as a year ago, I'd read James Thomson's "City of Dreadful Night" as a sort of prescient biography of my life. But today, I've been reading it again just to refamiliarize myself with its abyssal gloom, and...honest to the Other Gods...for the first time ever I don't feel as if I'm reading it from the inside out. I think this means I am one more degree closer to being Truly Functional. :)
