This Thursday, Pegritz will KILL BILL
Apr. 19th, 2004 03:31 pmWell, actually, I'll just be helping out with the filming of a number of interesting scenarios that will be used to train constables here at Penn State Fayette in accordance with our Administration of Justice program. Basically, each scenario will feature a number of actors (myelf included) portraying different situations involving hold-ups, gun battles, and the like so that potential constables will be able to learn how to handle these different kinds of occurences properly.
I'm going to wear my Reservoir Dogs black suit and demand that I get to be the gunman in any of the scenes featuring me. :)
Now, we're not talking serious acting here--all I'll really have to do is stand around and duck bullets or shoot at people with a cool fake gun...but it'll be nice to ham it up again in front of a camera, and I'm always willing to help out with campus programs when my schedule allows. I really respect the folks in PSU Fayette's AoJ program: they really do their best to train students properly to ensure that local law enforcement is responsible and intelligent.
Oh, and
wolff? I saw a gigantic spider today in the hallway going to class....I think it was a standard Northwestern wolf spider, but it was at least as big as the palm of my hand, and I steered well clear of it, as it was clearly evil and wanted to devour my soul. I think some kid walking behind me tried to squish it and it tore his leg off or something...but there was no way I was going to turn around and find out what all the screaming was about. :)

Date: 2004-04-19 10:36 pm (UTC)Spiders are never evil, unless of course you are talking about Shelob or her sire, but neither of them are *really* spiders.
And yeah... that email you sent me...
I'm just going to leave it at "..." b/c I don't even have a barely adequate response.
And what the fuck... for some reason the comment box is in Deutsch. Is this your doing?

Date: 2004-04-20 05:37 am (UTC)That spider at Penn State *was* evil, though--verifiably so: it was wearing an SS officer's hat and I think it was armed with a bazooka, as well. THis thing was easily the size of Shelob, as well, and probably meaner.
